The Federal government has approved over ₦4 billion for the fuelling of police vehicles across the Police Commands in all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

Taliban Captures Eighth Afghan Provincial Capital In 5 Days

The Taliban has captured two more cities in Afghanistan, taking the number of provincial capitals the group has seized since last Friday to eight.

On Tuesday, local sources confirmed the capture of both provincial capitals to reporters noting that Farah city of the eponymous southwestern province and Pul-e-Khumri of the northern province of Baghlan both fell to the armed group on Tuesday.

US Set To Review Classified 9/11 Documents For Publication

High-ranking US officials have vowed to review classified documents related to the September 11, 2001 terror attacks to see which could be made public — a recurring demand of some victims’ relatives.

The FBI said in a letter to the US attorney for the southern district of New York that it ‘has decided to review’ its prior privilege to not disclose certain sensitive documents and will ‘identify additional information appropriate for disclosure.’

Agents with the Federal Bureau of Investigation “will disclose such information on a rolling basis as expeditiously as possible,” the letter read.
