NEMA Clears Air Over Hoisting Of Saudi Arabian Flag

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), has responded to rumours making the rounds that it hoisted the Saudi Arabian flag to Islamize Nigeria.
The agency’s Head of Press and Public Relations, Manzo Ezekiel, in a statement which was made available to Africa Daily News, New York, explained that the flag was temporarily hoisted at the launching of NEMA’s newly upgraded Emergency Call Centre, which was partly supported the Saudi Arabian government.
Ezekiel called on the public to disregard what he called ‘failed campaign of calumny.’

Spanish giants Barcelona are interested in signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Arsenal, Africa Daily News, New York has learnt.

An opposition leader in Zambia Mr. Hakainde Hichilema, has been declared the winner of last week’s keenly-contested presidential election, after he defeated the incumbent, President Edgar Lungu, by more than one million votes.

With 155 of 156 constituencies reporting, official results showed that Hichilema had garnered 2,810,757 votes against Lungu’s 1,814,201.
