Deputy Minority leader of the House of Representatives, Hon. Okechukwu Tuesday, have stated that the COVID-19 pandemic has afforded Nigeria the chance to organize before future emergencies.

He said that the present pandemic raving the planet might not be the last.

The Taliban has captured two more cities in Afghanistan, taking the number of provincial capitals the group has seized since last Friday to eight.

On Tuesday, local sources confirmed the capture of both provincial capitals to reporters noting that Farah city of the eponymous southwestern province and Pul-e-Khumri of the northern province of Baghlan both fell to the armed group on Tuesday.

The World Health Organization (WHO) yesterday revealed that Guinea has confirmed a case of the deadly Marburg disease making it the first recorded in West Africa.
