Nigeria Recalls Envoy To Indonesia Over Assault On Diplomat
Nigeria has withdrawn its ambassador to Indonesia over the assault of a Nigerian diplomat by immigration officials in the Asian country, Africa Daily News, New York has learnt.
The country’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Geoffrey Onyeama, made this disclosure on Tuesday, stating that the Nigerian government is at the moment reviewing its diplomatic relations with Indonesia.
In a viral video, a Nigerian diplomat was seen being manhandled by immigration officials in front of his official quarters in Jarkarta, Indonesia.
Earlier, Onyema had summoned the Indonesian Ambassador to Nigeria, Dr. Usra Hendra Harahap, to express her displeasure over the development.

Two Killed In Anambra Over IPOB Sit-At-Home Order
No fewer than two persons were killed on Monday allegedly killed in Nnewi, Anambra State, over the sit-at-home exercise declared by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
