PDP, Nigeria’s Only Hope, Tambuwal Insists

Sokoto State Governor and Chairman, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors’ Forum, Aminu Tambuwal has asserted that the party is the only hope Nigeria has to salvage it from its present doldrums, boasting that it will bounce back in 2023.

He said this on Sunday at a grand reception held at the Government House, Bauchi, in honour of the PDP governors who are in the state capital for a meeting.

Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu will remain in the custody of the Department of State Services despite a request to transfer him to Kuje correctional centre.

Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court gave the order on Monday during the resumption of Kanu’s trial in Abuja.
