Tragedy was prevented on Saturday at Aba Central Police Station, Aba, Abia State, when an Assistant Superintendent of Police, went wild and started firing sporadically in the air while also and assaulting wives of other policemen in the area.

Biden Set To Host Iraqi PM At White House

President Joe Biden will welcome Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhemi to the White House this month, his office has confirmed.

Igboho Trying To Get New Passport, Flee Nigeria – FG

The Federal Government has revealed that popular Yoruba Nation activist, Sunday Adeyemo, who is also known as Sunday Igboho is trying to acquire a new passport to flee the country.

It added that the government had placed Igboho on the stop-list in order to facilitate his arrest and directed the security agencies to apprehend him anywhere he is found.

In the security circle, a person whose name is on the stop-list is denied all constitutional rights and privileges a citizen is entitled to.

The Igbo Lawyers Association (ILA) has insisted that Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, is not guilty of jumping bail in 2017.

Niger State Governor, Abubakar Sani-Bello yesterday signed the death penalty by hanging for cattle rustlers, bandits, kidnappers, and informants into law in the State.

Africa Daily News, New York recalls that the Niger State House of Assembly had on July 1, passed into law a bill prescribing death penalty for informants, kidnappers, and cattle rustlers in the State.

Bello said the Kidnapping and cattle rustling special provisions law of 2016 was amended to provide for the punishment of informants and all those involved in the aiding and abetting of kidnapping and cattle rustling in the state.
