The Senate has approved President Muhammadu Buhari’s request for the authourisation of ₦2.343 trillion ($6.183 billion USD) as External Borrowing in the 2021 Appropriation Act.

A Federal High Court in Abuja has ruled that former Minister of Finance Mrs. Kemi Adeosun was ineligible for national service as at when she got back to the country.

According to the judgment given by the court, said she was not supposed to present herself for National Youth Service because under the 1979 Constitution, which was in force at the time of her graduation, she was not a Nigerian citizen either at the time of her graduation or when she turned 30.

Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum has asserted that it is not a must that the next President of Nigeria will come from the South.

Africa Daily News, New York reports that the governor issued the rejoinder as a response to the resolution of his colleagues in the region.
