Chairman of the Senate Committee on Media and Public Affairs, Senator Ajibola Basiru, has lashed out at the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Alhaji Abubakar Malami over his ‘less than dignifying’ argument of equating open grazing with Southerners selling spare parts in the North.

The Governor, Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele, says claims that interventions in the agricultural sector, favours a particular section of the country are inaccurate.

Emefiele spoke in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State while unveiling the 2020 wet season harvest aggregation and flag-off of the 2021 wet season input distribution in the South-West.

Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde has said that the vehicle which ran over a toddler, killing her, was not part of his convoy.

Cryptocurrencies are in a free-fall after China banned financial and payment institutions from providing cryptocurrency services.

The most popular of them, Bitcoin crashed to $30,201.96, from $40,000 overnight.

According to reports, Bitcoin has tumbled more than 50 percent from a record high of $64,895 hit on April 14.

It has also erased all of its gains since February 8, when mercurial Elon Musk, said Tesla acquired a stake of $1.5 billion worth.

How Ethiopian Troops Raided Hospital Looking For ‘TPLF’

Ethiopian soldiers raided a hospital on Sunday in the northern historic city of Aksum in Tigray, looking for members of the Tigray People Liberation Fighters (TPLF), the AFP news agency reports, quoting doctors at the hospital.

The soldiers pointed guns at the doctors and nurses and questioned wounded patients, the health workers, who didn’t want to be identified, told reporters.
