Shehu Sani Blasts Nigerians Celebrating Attahiru’s Death

Senator Shehu Sani, who represented Kaduna Central in the 8th National Assembly, has slammed some Nigerians celebrating the death of the Chief Of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Ibrahim Attahiru, who died alongside other top military officers in an air crash on Friday.

Africa Daily News, New York had reported that the army chief and other top military officers died on Friday evening when a military Beachcraft 350 conveying them crashed at the Kaduna International Airport.

While Nigerians mourn the officers, Shehu Sani on his official Facebook page on Saturday alleged that some Nigerians are rejoicing over the ugly incident.

President Muhammadu Buhari was conspicuously missing at the burial of the late Chief of Army Staff, General Ibrahim Attahiru, on Saturday.

Attahiru died in a plane crash close to the Kaduna Airport on Friday.

10 other officers were also killed when the Beachcraft 350 aircraft came down due to bad weather.

Their remains were on Saturday moved to the National Mosque and the Nigerian Air Force Protestant Church venues of prayers.

The Nigerian currency – Naira weakened against the United States dollar yesterday at both the parallel market and the investors’ and exporters’ window.
