Insecurity: CAN Declares 3-Day Nationwide Prayer

The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has declared a three-day prayer for the peace and unity of the country in the face of mounting insecurity.

The General Secretary of CAN, Mr Daramola Bade-Joseph, disclosed this in a statement to NAN on Saturday.

Bade-Joseph said that the event which would hold as from May 28, until May 30, had become necessary following the spate of insecurity in many parts of the country.

Deji Adeyanju, an Abuja-based right activist has mocked Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State over his remark of running for the presidency.

The Ethiopian authorities have revoked the accreditation of a foreign correspondent working for The New York Times, the newspaper authorities confirmed yesterday.
