Easter: Jonathan, Gov Ishaku, Sani Felicitate With Christians

As Christians across the world celebrate the Easter season, marking the remembrance of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, some stakeholders and well-wishers have continued to felicitate with the Christian faithful.

Joining other stakeholders in celebrating with the Christian faithful, the immediate past Nigerian President, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan said the resurrection of the Lord Jesus is fundamental to all Christians.

In statement posted on his verified Twitter handle, Jonathan called on Christians and all Nigerians to prioritise love, peace and unity as a means of tackling the current security and economic challenges bedeviling the country.

A report published by the Debt Management Office has revealed that the Ogun State Government borrowed ₦58billion as domestic debt in 18 months.

The latest report, which was released on March 15, indicated that Ogun State domestic debt stock was ₦153,490,666,025.15 as of December 30, 2020.

However, the DMO had earlier reported that Ogun was owing a total domestic debt of ₦95,174,172,678.30 as of June 30, 2019, a month after the incumbent Governor Dapo Abiodun government came on board.

No fewer than 17 people have been reported missing after a collision between a cargo ship and a fishing boat off Indonesia’s main island of Java occurred according to officials.
