Following the death of the prime minister, Hamed Bakayoko who is a popular leader in Ivory Coast the country has been thrown into heavy mourning.

The National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria, on Thursday, explained how the regimes of General Aguiyi Ironsi, General Yakubu Gowon, and General Olusegun Obasanjo relegated the traditional institution to the background and made them as powerless as they appear today.

Members of the Nigerian House of Representatives on Thursday revealed that it is broke and cannot afford to carry out its constitutional mandate effectively.
