‘I’m Ready To Fight You’ – Obaseki Warns Edo NUT

Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki, on Monday, accused the leadership of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), of trying to distract the programmes he has planned for primary schools in the state with some of their demands.

Governor Obaseki also alleged that a segment of the leadership of the union has been politicized, vowed that his administration would not negotiate with them.

He made the vow during a stakeholders’ forum, organized by the State Universal Basic Education (SUBEB), with the theme, ‘Improving collaboration in the provision of basic education.

President Muhammadu Buhari, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha, and other prominent Nigerians will on Saturday be among the first set of Nigerians to receive the COVID-19 vaccine on live television.

They are expected to receive the first dose of the vaccine on Saturday, March 6.

The officials of the Department of State Service. (DSS) on Monday demanded a meeting with the leadership of Cattle and Foodstuff dealers under the aegis of Amalgamated Union of Foodstuff and Cattle Dealers of Nigeria (AUFCDN).

Experts from the united nations have alleged that at least three participants in UN-led Libya peace talks were bribed for votes, this was according to a report for the Security Council of the world body.
