Declaring For Presidency Now Is Unfair – Senator Orji Kalu

Former Governor of Abia State and Senate Chief Whip, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has said that declaring his ambition or by anyone else for the presidential election now is unfair and will create problems in the country.

He stated that rather, those nursing the desire should at least allow President Muhammadu Buhari to serve out half of his second tenure.

Kalu stated this during a chat with newsmen in Minna, after meeting with Niger State Governor, Abubakar Sani Bello, former Generals Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida and Abdulsalami Abubakar in their residences in Minna.

Osinbajo Kicks Against Prohibition Of Cryptocurrency

Yemi Osinbajo, the Vice President of Nigeria has kicked against the prohibition of digital currency in Nigeria.

Osinbajo who called for the regulation of cryptocurrency in Nigeria said Cryptocurrencies in the coming years will challenge traditional banking in ways that cannot be imagined.

He said although he fully appreciates the strong position of the CBN, SEC and some of the anti-corruption agencies on the possible abuse of cryptocurrencies, he believes that their position should be the subject of further reflection.

West African nation, Sierra Leone will on Thursday receive 200,000 doses of the Chinese-made coronavirus vaccine Sinopharm, the health ministry has disclosed.

Pope Francis has appointed Professor Roberto Bernabei as his new personal doctor.

The Vatican in a statement on Wednesday said Bernabei, who is an expert in health care for the elderly, will be taking over from the previous one who died from coronavirus complications.
