Myanmar Coup: Jonathan Calls For Release Of Aung San Suu Kyi

Nigeria’s former President Goodluck Jonathan has called for a return to democratic rule following a military coup in Myanmar.

The country’s military seized power after detaining Counsellor Aung San Suu Kyi and other democratically elected leaders.

In a tweet on Monday, Mr. Jonathan urged the military to release the counsellor and return the country to democratic rule.

 Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, a self-acclaimed Yoruba activist, Monday stormed troubled areas in Yewaland, Ogun State, insisting that killer – herdsmen must vacate Yorubaland.

News sources first reported sighting the Nigerian leader without his mask in Daura, Katsina State, on Saturday.
