Edo Will Not Give Any Land To Herdsmen For Grazing – Obaseki

The Edo State Government has said it will not cede any part of its lands for cattle grazing.

Osarodion Ogie Esq., the Secretary to the State Government, made this known in a statement on Thursday.

Ogie said the position of Governor Obaseki’s administration on the matter is clear and has not shifted since it insisted that it would not cede its land to herdsmen.

Femi Fani-Kayode, a former Aviation Minister, has reacted to a statement by the Minister of Defence, Bashir Magashi, advising Nigerians to defend themselves against bandits.

The Union Nations has condemned an attack by the Ugandan security forces that left several journalists injured warning of possible sanctions if the attacks continue.

The journalists were reportedly reporting on the opposition MP and musician Bobi Wine as he was highlighting allegations of human rights abuses in the country.
