Armed bandits on Sunday reportedly razed the building of the Holy Family Catholic Church, and two homes, in Kikwari village, Kajuru local government area of Kaduna state in what seemed to very coordinated attacks.

The Commissioner, Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Kaduna State, Samuel Aruwan,  who confirmed the attacks revealed that locals fled the area on receiving information that some bandits were sighted outside the village and the bandits simply had a free day.

‘On getting to the location, the armed bandits set ablaze the place of worship and the two houses,‘ he said.

Nigerian Air Force Confirms 7 Deaths In Abuja Plane Crash

The Nigerian Air Force has confirmed the crash of a military plane and the number of fatalities. This confirmation came from Air Vice Marshall Ibikunle Daramola, in a tweet on Sunday afternoon.

The force spokesman also confirmed that the plane crashed while returning to the Abuja Airport after reporting engine failure en route Minna, the capital of Niger State.

The Nigeria Air Force has confirmed that seven personnel died on board a military aircraft which crashed at Abuja Airport on Sunday.

The military aircraft, King Air 350 crashed on Sunday morning on the runway of Abuja airport.
