Self-acclaimed freedom fighter, and Yoruba Activist Mr. Sunday Adeyemo, also known as Sunday Igboho, on Tuesday, accused the Federal Government of freezing his bank accounts, following his attack on the killer-herdsmen in Oyo State.
Igboho, who spoke to newsmen, confirmed that all his bank accounts have been frozen by the Federal Government because some people were collecting donations.

The much-expected inquiry into the origins of the coronavirus pandemic drew the curtain on its mission in China on Tuesday with no breakthrough discovery, as investigators ruled out a theory that Covid-19 came from a lab but failed to identify which animal may have passed it to humans.

Panama’s health minister on Monday justified the deployment of more than 200 Cuban doctors to help the Central American country battle the coronavirus, despite the harsh criticism of the island government’s human rights record at home.

Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari, on Tuesday, justified the decision of his administration to construct a rail line linking Nigeria with the Niger Republic despite criticisms and disapproval that trailed the announcement of the plan.
The president said connecting Niger Republic through rail would, among other benefits, foster trans-Sahara trade and contribute to the expected gains in the African Continental Free Trade Area Agreement.

The World Trade Organisation (WTO) has revealed that it will ratify the appointment of Nigeria’s former Finance Minister, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, next week.

The Northern Governors’ Forum says the current system of open grazing, operated by herders in the country, is no longer sustainable.
The forum made this known in a statement issued by its chairman and governor of Plateau, Simon Lalong.
According to the communique, the northern governors will aggressively sensitise herdsmen on the need to adopt new methods of herding by ranching or other acceptable modern methods.
