Tony Elumelu Foundation Announces New Executive Appointments

The Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF) has announced the appointments of three senior executives, which would be effective from February 1, 2021.

The Foundation said this follows the launch of the 2021 TEF Entrepreneurship Programme, on www.TEFConnect.com, which prioritizes the economic recovery of small and medium scale enterprises and young African entrepreneurs, following the disruptive effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Nigeria’s Cut In Oil Production Gets OPEC Commendation

The Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee (JMMC) of the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) has commended the progress made by Nigeria to conform with the agreement on Crude oil production cut.

The group gave the commendation at the 26th Meeting of the JMMC held via video conference on Wednesday.

There is palpable tension at Federal High Court, Abuja over COVID-19 after one of the Justices, Binta Nyako tested positive for the deadly virus.
The News Agency of Nigeria quoted a competent source as confirming that the judge tested positive for the virus and is expected to be in isolation.
Justice Nyako, on Jan. 28, attended the valedictory court session held at the Ukeje Hall of the court’s headquarters in Abuja in honour of Late Justice Ibrahim Watila who was buried last weekend.

Justice Watila of the Abeokuta Division of the court, who passed away after a brief illness.
