European Public Positive On Biden, Concerned On US democracy

Reports say the public is strongly supportive of US President-elect Joe Biden in most European counties but is increasingly concerned about democracy in the United States following Donald Trump’s tumultuous tenure, a survey said Tuesday.

On the eve of Biden’s inauguration, the Pew Research Center said 79 percent in Germany, 72 percent in France, and 65 percent in Britain were confident that Biden would make the right decisions in world affairs.

No fewer than 120,000 children die annually from pneumonia across Nigeria, according to Dr. Adamu Isah, Chief of Party for the INSPIRING Project under the Save the Children initiative.

Dr. Isah made this known on Monday during the inauguration ceremony of the Every Breath Counts coalition committee at the Jigawa State Ministry of Health, Dutse.
