Boko Haram Seriously Regrouping In Nasarawa, Sule To Buhari

Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule has alerted President Muhammadu Buhari over the presence of Suspected members of the terror sect, Boko Haram, in the state causing security concerns and threatening peaceful existence.

The governor briefed the President on the issue yesterday when he visited after which he spoke to reporters.

According to him, the Boko Haram members were dislodged from a location along the Abuja/Nasarawa borders last year, only for them to resurface at the Nasarawa/Benue State borders.

US president, Joe Biden  In his first call to a foreign leader earlier today,  spoke with Canadian counterpart Justin Trudeau Friday on a number of topics and made plans to continue the conversation next month, Ottawa and Washington said in separate statements.

Boko Haram Kills Nine Soldiers In Nasarawa

Suspected Boko Haram terrorists have killed nine military officers during a rescue operation in a forest along Mararaba-Udege road in Nasarawa state linking Otukpo Oweto in Benue state.

The slain soldiers led to the forest by an officer Felix Kura, an indigene of Benue state, were Iliya Kefas, Bati Yakubu, and other young officers whose names cannot be identified immediately.

The slain officers were reportedly on a mission to dislodge the Boko Haram terrorists from the forest who kidnapped many indigenes of the state and held them captive.
