Nigeria In Dilemma Because Buhari’s Govt Has Failed – Adams

Gani Adams the Aare Onakakanfo of Yorubaland, Iba, has stated that the security situation in the country has put Nigeria at crossroads because the government of the day has failed.

He made these known while reacting to the abduction of students from Government Science Secondary School in Kankara Local Government Area of Katsina State, and also added that it was absurd that bandits abducted over 600 secondary school students during President Muhammadu Buhari’s visit to Katsina State.

The Bauchi State chapter of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) has alleged that the Fulani ethnic nationality is not only being marginalised in the scheme of things in the country but accused of committing virtually every crime.

This was stated, weekend, at the Bauchi South zonal meeting of the association, by its state chairman, Sadiq Ibrahim, declaring that governments at all levels have failed to avail the Fulani of social amenities, such as water for both human and animal consumption, roads, grazing lands and cattle routes, among others.

President Muhammadu Buhari has relieved the Prof Kemebradikumo Daniel Pondei-led Interim Management Committee (IMC) of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) of their duties.

The President’s spokesperson, Femi Adesina, disclosed this in a statement on Saturday night.
