Court Admits More APC Exhibits Against Obaseki In Forgery Suit

The All Progressives Congress (APC), on Wednesday, presented to the Federal High Court, Abuja, two more documents to prove its allegation of certificate forgery against Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki.

They are University of Ibadan degree certificates, belonging to Professor Emmanuel Dele Balogun, and a report by a forensic document examiner, Assistant Superintendent of Police, (ASP), Raphael Onwuzuligbo.

Both were admitted in evidence by the court after the lead counsel of the plaintiffs, Akin Olujimi (SAN) tendered.

Nigeria extended bullish posture on Wednesday with the market capitalisation increasing further by ₦214 billion on sustained bargain hunting of blue chips.

Specifically. the market capitalisation which opened at ₦20.446 trillion rose by ₦214 billion to close at ₦20.660 trillion supported by interests in BUA Cement.

The Evangelical Church Winning All, ECWA, has warned that President Muhammadu Buhari would be held responsible if anything happens to the Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, Bishop Matthew Hassan Kukah over his Christmas message on the state of the nation.

Registration: NIMC Gives New Instructions To NIN Applicants

The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) has issued new instructions for applicants to obtain their National Identification Number (NIN).

The spokesman for the Commission, Kayode Adegoke, gave the new instructions in a statement on Tuesday titled, ‘NIMC adopts booking system for NIN enrolment.’

Adegoke urged all applicants to use face masks, maintain social distancing and wash their hands while at its centres across Nigeria.
