Police Dismiss 10 Officers In Lagos For Indiscipline

The Lagos State Police Command has dismissed 10 personnel for indiscipline who were among 81 officers tried for various offences, the report says. This was made known in a statement by Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) Olumuyiwa Adejob. He noted that the action was taken in other to promote discipline and core values of policing in Lagos state.

He was elected  governor of Kaduna state in 1979 on the platform of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP).

“Alhaji Balarabe Musa has died.May Allah forgive his souls and grant him Aljanna firdausi.Amin,” Mr Sani wrote on Twitter.

Balarabe Musa, 84, was elected governor of Kaduna State in 1979 but was later controversially impeached and removed from office.

Born August 21, 1936, Mr Musa was the first civilian governor of Kaduna State in Nigeria’s Second Republic before he was impeached on June 23, 1981.
