Breaking: Iran’s Top Nuclear Scientist Murdered

Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, a top nuclear scientist in Iran has been murdered, state media reported.

Fakhrizadeh was shot on Friday as he journeyed in a vehicle near Tehran, the state capital.

He was badly injured, doctors could not save him in the hospital.

The deceased was head of the Islamic Republic’s military nuclear program before it was disbanded in the early 2000s.

The Iran Defence Ministry confirmed Fakhrizadeh’s passing in a statement.

Bad Performance: Super Eagles Drop Down In Fifa Rankings

Nigeria’s Super Eagles have dropped to 35 in the world in the latest ranking released by the Federation of International Football, FIFA.

The Eagles which ranked 32 in October moved to 35 in November following two poor showing against Sierra Leone in AFCON qualifier, drawing the two games.

The Eagles also lost 1-0 to Algeria and played 1-1 with Tunisia in international friendly matches in October. These affected the ranking.

The Group Managing Director of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Mr Mele Kyari, on Thursday, said the corporation deliberately shut down the nation’s refineries because they no longer make sense to be operated.

The GMD disclosed this when he appeared before the House of Representatives Committee on Petroleum Upstream in Abuja.

Australia has finally terminated the job of at least 10 special force soldiers after the release of a report that found credible evidence of unlawful killings of unarmed prisoners, farmers, and civilians in Afghanistan, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) said on Thursday.
