Deliberation For 5G ongoing – NCC

Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has issued a Draft Consultation Document on the deployment of fifth-generation (5G) Mobile Technology in Nigeria.

NCC Director, Public Affairs, Dr Ikechukwu Adinde, said this in a statement on Tuesday in Abuja.

Adinde said that the Draft Consultation Document for the deployment of the 5G in Nigeria has been produced and uploaded on NCC’s official website (www.ncc.gov.ng).

He explained that the document defined the implementation plan for the deployment of 5G in Nigeria.

Notwithstanding the release of 497 billion by the Federal Government to close the metering gap in the country,  Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) has said that about 10,477,856 registered electricity customers  have not been metered as at the end of the first quarter of 2020.
