Delta State Government on Friday said it has unraveled the cause of deaths of youths in three communities in Ika North-East Local Government Area of the state.

About 30 youths between the ages of 18 and 25 had succumbed to a strange disease ravaging Ute-Okpu, Ute-Erumu and Idumesa communities in the locality within the last three weeks.

The UK Government has revised down the Covid-19 death toll predictions it used to impose the second lockdown, reports say. According to news published by Mail Online and Telegraph the Government dropped its daily death toll forecasts from 1,500 to just over 1,000 by December 8 after being rapped by the statistics watchdog. Transport Company Acquires 50 Buses, Opens Kaduna-Lagos Route

Kaduna-based transport company, Kaduna Line, has deployed 50 buses to ease transportation problems for commuters from Kaduna to other parts of the country.

Mr Augustine Ogar, the company’s Managing Director, made the disclosure on Thursday at the inauguration of the Kaduna-Lagos route.
