Slovakian police on Wednesday said Austrian authorities had received a tip-off about the late Vienna terrorist attacker from Slovakia in recent months after he had tried to buy ammunition.

Kujtim Fejzulai killed four people and injured more than 20 others on Monday in a shooting spree in the Austrian capital before police shot the extremist Islamist dead. The Slovakian police directorate in Bratislava on Tuesday wrote on Facebook, the post read;  ‘Slovak police was informed in summer that suspects from Austria tried to buy ammunition in Slovakia. The Lagos State government has raised the alarm that the second wave of COVID-19 is imminent in the state owing to the continuous utter disregard of safety guidelines by residents.

The state’s Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, who raised the alarm in a statement, yesterday, while speaking on efforts being made by the state to sustain the gains that have been made to control the global pandemic, advised citizens against unnecessary movement and social gatherings, stressing that traveling in and out of the country should be discouraged except when absolutely necessary.
