British Airways Sinks Deeper Into Red

International Airlines Group (IAG), the owner of British Airways and Spanish carrier Iberia, has recorded a cumulative loss of €5.6 billion, up till September.

Its latest quarterly loss, published Friday, was €1.76 billion euros, a fallout of the worsening Covid-19 crisis that has decimated demand for global air travel.

The loss after taxation in the three months to September contrasted with net profit of 1.0 billion euros a year earlier, IAG announced in a statement.

The bullet shells were found at the scene during an inspection by the Lagos Judicial Panel of Inquiry and Restitution for Victims of SARS Related Abuses & Lekki Toll Gate Incident this morning.

Arise, AIT, Channels Escalated Violence – Buhari Group Claims

The Buhari Media Organisation (BMO) has lauded the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) for sanctioning three broadcast media stations for their coverage of End SARS protests.

A statement on Friday by the Chairman, Niyi Akinsiju and the Secretary, Cassidy Madueke, claimed the organisations breached extant regulatory guidelines.

BMO aligned with NBC’s position that Arise TV, AIT and Channels TV contributed to the escalation of the crisis.

The body noted that the sanction sends a strong and unambiguous message to the broadcast industry in Nigeria.

The bodies of at least 59 people were found in hidden graves in the central Mexican state of Guanajuato, government authorities said Wednesday.
