Angry Protesters Hijack, Vandalise Air Force Vehicle In Benin

It was more of a civil disobedience than protest in Benin, the capital of Edo state on Wednesday as angry protesters  defied all possible danger to hijack and vandalise a Toyota Hilux operational van of Nigeria Air force.

The incident occurred along Benin/Agbor road, shortly after some mobile policemen allegedly vandalized and looted a black-colored Lexus RX330, marked Edo: AKA 235 RZ said to belong to one of the protesters.

Hoodlums Shun Curfew, Attack Ondo APC Secretariat

Despite the 24-hour curfew imposed by the State government of Ondo, some hoodlums have attacked the party secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state located at Oyemekun road on Wednesday.

The hoodlums who might have infiltrated the #EndSARS protest in the state stormed the party secretariat at 11.00 am and vandalised all the valuables in the secretariat.

Obasanjo Blames Buhari For Poor Handling Of EndSARS Protests

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has blamed Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari for the escalating of violence and clashes in several parts of the country.

“It is clear that Mr. President and his lieutenants did not exhaust the opportunities for dialogues with the protesters before resolting the use of force,” Obasanjo said in a statement on Wednesday.

Lagos descended into chaos on Wednesday after government security forces fired live ammunition Tuesday on hundreds of protestors.

The Nigeria Port Authority (NPA) building has been set ablaze by hoodlums protesting the killing of peaceful young protesters by soldiers at the Lekki Toll-gate in Lagos on Tuesday night.

The building was razed as the NPA fire fighters run for their dear lives and therefore unable to arrest the inferno.
