Videos Of Lekki Tollgate Shooting Photoshopped – Army

Nigerian Defence Headquarters’ Director of Information, Maj. Gen. John Enenche on Thursday described as ‘photoshopped videos of the Lekki tollgate shooting.

Enenche in a press conference on Thursday said the video circulating on social media were untrue as it was photoshopped.

Speaking on Arise News, Enechec said, “These videos were cropped and photoshopped.

Buhari Holds National Security Meeting Amid #EndSARS Protests

Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari is currently holding a National Security Council meeting in the State House, Abuja.

‘President Muhammadu Buhari is currently presiding over the National Security Council Meeting at the Council Chambers, the State House, Abuja. VP, SGF, COS, Defence Minister, the Service Chiefs, the IG of Police, and other heads of the security agencies are all in attendance,’ a presidential media aide Bashir Ahmed tweeted on Thursday.

This is coming days after pockets of violence have erupted from peaceful protest against police brutality in the country.

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Thursday said he called President Muhammadu Buhari, to inform him of the killings of #ENDSARS protesters at Lekki Toll Gate, by the Nigerian Army on Tuesday, but was told he was not available.

‘I made calls to the President twice yesterday but was told he wasn’t in the office. The second time he was said to be at the FEC meeting; I haven’t spoke to him directly but I have reached the Chief of Staff to the President’, he said in an interview with Arise TV.
