The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has granted two mobile network operators, MTN and 9mobile, approval to carry out trial on national roaming services.

South-West governors and ministers visited Lagos on Sunday to commiserate with Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Lagosians over the EndSARS protest mayhem in the state.

Guinea’s President Alpha Conde has won 59.49 percent of votes in a hotly contested election where he sought a controversial third term, according to provisional results announced by the country’s electoral authority Saturday.

Attackers armed with guns and machetes killed at least eight children Saturday in a raid on a school in southwestern Cameroon, the United Nations said.

Military Apprehends 123 Palliative Looters In Jos

The Special Military Task Force, Operation Safe Haven (OPSH), has arrested 123 suspects for vandalising and looting items from private businesses and government properties in Jos.

The Commander of the task force, Maj.-Gen. Chukwuemeka Okonkwo, presented the suspects to newsmen on Sunday in Jos.

Okonkwo said that the suspects defied the 24-hour curfew imposed by the State Government to perpetrate the criminal act.
