Troops Eliminate Terrorists, Destroy Gun Trucks, Recover Arms

The troops of Operation Fire Ball has said that it eliminated 14 terrorists in recent encounters in the North East.

The Acting Director, Defence Media Operations, Brig.-Gen. Bernard Onyeuko, in a statement on Sunday, said that operation was a subsidiary operation launched under Operation Lafiya Dole to route out remnant of terrorists.

Onyeuko said that four terrorists’ gun trucks were destroyed as well as recovery of large cache of arms and ammunitions during the various encounters.

The Kwara State Government has announced the state government plans to support business owners who had their businesses vandalised or looted by hoodlums following the violence that erupted from the aftermath of the #EndSARS protests.

Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq after visiting vandalised and looted stores by hoodlums said the state has earmarked the sum of ₦500million to help the business owners to get back on their feet.

A Political group, Tinubu Vanguard, has called on Nigerians to stop the verbal and sometimes physical attack on Mr. Bola Tinubu, and his assets.

Director-General (D-G) of the group, Dr. Johnny Ben, made the call in a statement on Saturday against the backdrop of recent attacks on assets that were purportedly traced to Tinubu.

Tinubu, a former governor of Lagos state, is the National Leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
