The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) 2019 Election Review Committee led by the Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has held separate consultative meetings with former presidents Olusegun Obasanjo, Goodluck Jonathan and Ibrahim Badamosi Babaginda (IBB).

Mohammed and other members of the committee, which include former Jigawa State governor, Sule Lamido and his Niger State counterpart, Babangida Aliyu, met separately with Obasanjo and former Senate President, David Mark, in Abuja on Sunday.

The Federal government and the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) have reached an agreement on electricity tariff and the planned industrial action has been suspended.

The new agreement, according to the Minister of Labour and employment (State) Festus Keyamo involves the suspension of the new electricity tariff hike for two weeks.

Keyamo in a tweet announced that the agreement was reached at 2:53 am and government has also promised to roll out palliative in two weeks.

Islamic organisation, Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) has advised the handlers of South-West security outfit, Amotekun, to recruit Oodua People’s Congress (OPC) members.
