The Bayelsa State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has erupted in crisis barely two months month to the two senatorial bye-elections scheduled for October 31, 2020.

Some aggrieved leaders of the APC from Bayelsa Central and Bayelsa West Senatorial Districts have forwarded a petition to the Chairman, Caretaker Committee of the party against the conduct of the state’s party leader, Chief Timipre Syva.

Amotekun Corps Apprehends 3 Suspected Kidnappers In Ondo

The Ondo State Security Network, Amotekun Corps has arrested three suspected kidnappers operating in the state.

It was gathered that the three members of the kidnap syndicate were nabbed by Amotekun operatives following the abduction of a businessman, Mr Kunle Agbayewa at a popular sawmill in Idoani, Ose Local Government Area of the state.

Following the arrest of the suspects by men of the indigenous security outfit, they were subsequently handed over to the state police command.

Increase In Pump Price Of Fuel Wicked, Insensitive – Melaye

Former Kogi State lawmaker, Dino Melaye, has condemned President Muhammadu Buhari’s government over the increment in the pump price of petrol.

The United States on Monday vetoed a UN Security Council resolution on the prosecution, rehabilitation and reintegration of foreign terrorist fighters.
