Internet Kingpin On FBI’s Watchlist, Felix Okpoh Surrenders

Suspected internet fraudster on watchlist of the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), Felix Osilama Okpoh has surrendered himself to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

He was declared wanted by the EFCC as he is on the watchlist of the FBI for his alleged involvement in a $6 million internet fraud.

The EFCC has thus begun investigation into his involvement in the scam.

INEC Presents Certificates Of Return To Obaseki, Shaibu

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, on Monday presented Certificates of Returns to Governor Godwin Obaseki and his deputy, Philip Shaibu.

Obaseki emerged winner of the governorship election held in Edo State on Saturday, polling 307,955 votes to defeat his contestant, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu of the APC, who got 223,619 votes.

The Director-General, Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, Dr Chike Ihekweazu, has said that the COVID-19 transmission would rise with the reopening of schools and airports.

He, therefore, warned against complacency and the belief that infection rates were declining.
