Increase In Pump Price Of Fuel Wicked, Insensitive – Melaye

Former Kogi State lawmaker, Dino Melaye, has condemned President Muhammadu Buhari’s government over the increment in the pump price of petrol.

The increment was approved by Pipelines and Product Marketing Company (PPMC), a subsidiary of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC on Wednesday.

The new price has since stirred reactions from Nigerians and prominent individuals on social media.

Reacting, Melaye described the increase in petrol price during a pandemic as ”grossly insensitive and wicked by the government”

Joe Biden Raises Record Campaign Cash

Joe Biden’s United States presidential campaign and the Democratic Party raised $364.5 million in donations in August, breaking a United States record for a single month haul.

This is coming as the November election gets near and spending on advertising is likely to rise.

UBA Plc Loses Executive Director Emeke Iweriebor

Emeke Iweriebor, a group executive director in pan-African UBA Plc, has died. He died on Sunday at 51 after an illness.

Iweriebor was for some years in charge of the bank’s east and southern Africa operations.
