Forex Expert Says COVID-19 Boomed Trading

A fund manager, Mr Stano Emmanuel stated that the COVID-19 pandemic has attracted many players to forex trading.

Emmanuel, the CEO of DCROCSTYLE Nigeria Ltd made this known in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday in Ilorin.

A former governor of Ondo State, Olusegun Mimiko has said he will not respond to the various allegations levelled against him by the incumbent, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu until the governorship campaigns begin.

Mimiko said this on Sunday in Ondo town when he hosted the Deputy Governor, Agboola Ajayi, at his residence.

Ajayi had defected to the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) in the hope of clinching the party’s gubernatorial ticket for the Oct. 10 election.

DSS Invites Na’abba After Blasting Buhari Over Insecurity

The Department of State Services (DSS) has invited former Speaker of House of Representatives, Ghali Umar Naa’ba.

This followed his condemnation of President Muhammadu Buhari over insecurity in Nigeria.

He described Nigeria as a failed state.

The Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has said that the National Assembly should allow the government get the fresh $5.3 billion loan from China.

According to Amaechi, the legislative arm must stop asking questions concerning Nigeria’s loan agreement with China to enable the Asian giants grant the loan.

The Minister pointed out that questions from the legislatures would likely deter Chinese government from extending credit to the country, especially the fresh $5.3bn required for the Ibadan-Kano railway.

Another white cop has killed a black man, Julian Edward Roosevelt Lewis in the state of Georgia, United States.

The killer Georgia state trooper was arrested and charged with murder on Friday after he fatally shot the 60-year-old man who allegedly tried to flee during a rural traffic stop.
