Gunmen Shoot Family Of 13 Dead In Kogi

Gunmen have shot 13 members of the same family dead in Agbudu, Kogi-Koton-Karfe Local Government Area of Kogi State.

Fourteen people were killed in the attack, with six persons serious injured.

Ede Ayuba, State Police Commissioner, who disclosed this while briefing newsmen at the command headquarters in Lokoja, said he got the report about 2: 00 a.m.

Ayuba said that 13 of the slain victims were from same family.

Minister of State for Health, Adeleke Mamora, has lauded the 50 medical experts, who successfully separated two conjoined twins at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) in Keffi, Nasarawa State.

The minister disclosed that after a nine-hour long surgery, the twins were successfully separated with no intra-operative complications.

Mamora assured that the Keffi Medical Centre would be one of the centres the Federal Government would focus on for specialised surgery.

The Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC, has released a chart on data subscriptions in 2020.

The chart released on the commission’s website shows a steady rise in the number of Nigerians who subscribe to internet data via different technologies in the country from July 2019 till date.

The chart revealed that in July 2019, data subscription by Nigerians stood at 174, 950,011, but rose to 196, 379, 542.

According to the commission, the chart as presented “contains the sum total of all active telephony subscribers and teledensity as calculated on monthly and annual basis.’’
