Reno Omokri, former aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan has described the video of the acting Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Kemebradikumo Pondei where he fainted during his appearance before the House of Representatives Committee as fake.

Pondei slumped while being grilled by members of the committee led by Thomas Ereyitomi over alleged financial mismanagement of the NDDC.

Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz has been admitted to King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Riyadh for medical checks.

State news agency SPA reported that the king was hospitalised due to an inflammation in the gall bladder.

Breaking: Pondei, ‘Slumps’ During Reps Committee Interrogation

Acting Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission, Daniel Pondei, slumped and went unconscious as the House of Representatives committee on NDDC grilled him on Monday.

The committee is in its fourth day of public hearing as it investigates alleged financial misappropriation at the agency.

Pondei had been grilled for over an hour and when he slowly slumped over his desk, appearing too faint.

Once he was spotted, several people present at the hearing rushed to his aid, propping him up and attempting to stabilise him, with the proceedings halted.
