Ondo: Akeredolu Speaks On APC ‘Disqualification’

Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State has debunked rumours of his disqualification from Ondo 2020 Governorship election. He reinstated that he is still in the State’s Governorship race in the Oct. 10 election.

This follows rumours of his disqualification from participating in the July 20 governorship primary election of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The screening, which took place from July 8 to July 10 in Abuja, was for the 12 APC governorship aspirants in the state.

Twenty-nine Nigerians evacuated by the Federal Government from Lebanon arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja on Saturday afternoon.

Ganduje Thanks Buhari Over Power Upgrade In Kano

Gov. Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State has commended the Federal Government for the installation of a power sub-station at the Bichi Local Government Area of the state to boost power supply.

This is contained in a statement issued by the Director-General, Media and Public Relations to the Governor, Malam Ameen Yassar.‎

Ganduje gave the commendation while receiving the Managing Director of the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), Alhaji Sule AbdulAziz, who visited him at Government House in Kano.‎‎

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) says Ibrahim Magu, the suspended acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), must be made to answer for alleged corruption and violation of rules.
