The presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, Joe Biden, added New York and Kentucky to his already insurmountable delegate lead Tuesday.

The Associated Press called the New York race for Biden just after polls closed at 9 pm.

The former vice president is running alone as all his challengers have all bowed out of the race.

However, officials and observers say it’s too early to say what the final margins of the New York presidential primary race will be.

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has insisted that no member of its National Working Committee (NWC) sponsored any media publication to malign the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike.

PDP described such publications as handwork of external forces and its enemies who are bent on sowing seeds of discord within the party.

It was gathered that the labourers were forced to work under hard condition despite the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown order.

It was also learnt the company promised to add only N5000 to their meagre pay for working day and night during the lockdown.

According to some of the workers, the firm managers threatened to sack them should they go home to see their families.

According to the latest official update released on Tuesday, the ministry recorded 61 more deaths to the national death toll which now stood at 1,991.

Resident doctors of the University of Medical Sciences Teaching Hospital, UNIMEDTH, Ondo State on Tuesday commenced an indefinite strike.
