Iran Says it’s Ready For Talks If U.S. Apologises Over Nuclear Pact
DUBAI (Reuters) – Iran would be open to talks with the United States if Washington apologises for exiting a 2015 nuclear deal and compensates Tehran, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said on Wednesday, cautioning that U.S. calls for discussions were insincere.

Indictments read at a Lagos High Court sitting in Igbosere, showed that the two cousins alleged to have murdered and robbed the Hungarian Bernadette Tohouo- Tohouo 44, also raped her.
Bernadette was the wife of Cameroonian, Gildas Tohouo-Tohouo, the managing director of Maersk Nigeria Limited.
She was killed in the couple’s Ikoyi home last year.

Amotekun Arrests 42 Cows Over Alleged Destruction Of Farmlands In Ondo
News Investigators/ The Ondo State Command of the regional Security Network Agency, codenamed Amotekun Corps, has arrested 42 cows over alleged destruction of farmlands around Alagbaka Extension in Akure, the Ondo State capital.
State Commander, Amotekun Corps, Adetunji Adeleye, made this known while conducting journalists round the affected farmlands.
Mr. Adeleye explained that the cows were arrested after series of complaints by owners of the farmlands in the area.
According to him, more than eight separate farmlands with crops such as maize and cassava were completely destroyed by herdsmen who usually grazed their cows around the affected area

No COVID-19 Case In Cross River – Govt Counters NCDC
Recall that the NCDC’s Director-General, Chikwe Ihekweazu on Monday said that no state in Nigeria is COVID-19 free.
Ihekweazu said that a state can only talk about being coronavirus free, when it is testing adequately.

Timi Frank, former deputy national publicity secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has called on the Nigerian Army to immediately release Lance Corporal Martins.

Johnson & Johnson To Pay $2.1bn Over Cancer-Causing Talcum Powder
A US court has upheld a verdict that talcum powder sold by Johnson & Johnson caused ovarian cancer and ordered the pharmaceutical giant to pay $2.1 billion in damages.
The decision by the Missouri Court of Appeals cut by more than half the $4.4 billion a jury had awarded 22 people in 2018. The court agreed that some of the plaintiffs should not have been included in the case as they were from outside the state.
But the Tuesday decision upheld the awarding of damages for the company “knowingly selling products that contained asbestos to consumers.”

The registration is for Batch A orientation course.
A check on NYSC’s official portal by Africa Daily News, New York showed that the registration process will run till 29 of June, 2020.
However, the scheme also warned prospective corps members against changing their date of birth.

Embattled Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Agboola Ajayi, has alleged that Governor Rotimi Akeredolu is inducing members of the state House of Assembly to impeach him.
