Former White House national security adviser John Bolton called President Donald Trump “naive and dangerous,” in an ABC News interview that aired Sunday, adding that he hopes his former boss will be remembered as a one-term president.

Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu has called on Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State to “set aside his anger” and return to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Ize-Iyamu made the appeal on Monday in Benin City, Edo State after he emerged as the governorship candidate of the APC for the September 19, 2020 poll in the state.

He said Obaseki made a mistake leaving the party and he could still correct it.

Master Opara made waves on the internet after someone shared a video of him singing catholic hymn songs.

This video got to the governor and he promised to personally sponsor the young chap from primary to the Catholic priesthood.

President Muhammadu Buhari and the All Progressive Congress (APC) Governors met on Monday over the crisis rocking the party.

The parley was held in the President’s office at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Prominent socio-cultural leaders from southern and middle-belt Nigeria have filed ₦50 billion suit against President Muhammadu Buhari over marginalization of the people of the region in the appointments to security, quasi-security agencies and “strategic agencies” of government.

The 16 plaintiffs filed the suit marked, FHC/ABJ/CS/595/2020, at the Federal High Court in Abuja on June 8, 2020.

Ghana’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration has condemned the demolition of a building owned by the Nigerian High Commission by alleged “unknown persons”.

Nigeria says it is engaging Ghana over the incident.The apartments under construction were demolished on Friday.

They were to serve as quarters for staff and visiting diplomats to the High Commission.

In a statement, the ministry assured that it would go after perpetrators of the act.
