Delta State on Sunday said two top officials of the government have tested positive to the COVID-19 virus.
The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Olisa Ifeajika, in a statement in Asaba, identified the officials as Secretary to the State Government, Chiedu Ebie, and the Commissioner for Information, Charles Aniagwu.
According to him, both officials showed mild symptoms of the virus and consequently subjected themselves to the test.
He added that both men had been moved to an isolation centre and were stable, and responding well to treatment.
