In an interview with AP, she now claimed she filed a limited report with a congressional personnel office that did not explicitly accuse him of sexual assault or harassment.

“I remember talking about him wanting me to serve drinks because he liked my legs and thought I was pretty and it made me uncomfortable,” Reade said.

“I know that I was too scared to write about the sexual assault.”

Reade said she described her issues with Biden but “the …

Christianity As A Tool Of Imperialism In Africa

Christianity As A Tool Of Imperialism In Africa

Christianity is a religion that appears harmless on the surface but in actuality, it is a tool of Western imperialism. This tool was the machination which the Western imperialists used greatly to further enslave Africans.

Many of us Africans have been falsely and ignorantly indoctrinated virtually all our lives with the gimmicks of Christianity.

Sameway, many were also indoctrinated with Islam. It’s pertinent to state here that all Abrahamic religions were created by the same Western imperialists who balkanised Alkebulan between Nov 15, 1884 and Feb 26, 1885 for different reasons.

These Western marauders left their continent to subjugate our …

Stock Markets Rattled By Trump’s China Virus Claims

London and New York stocks sank on Friday after US President Donald Trump lashed out at China over the coronavirus crisis, bringing back bad memories of a damaging standoff between both countries over trade.

The eurozone’s key equity markets were shut for a public holiday as were several exchanges in Asia.

Investor nerves were tested further by a weak bottom line for Amazon even after the retail giant’s revenues received a boost from online shopping under the coronavirus lockdown.

The company warned earnings in the second quarter would be entirely wiped out by expenses related to COVID-19.

A Decade After Debt Crisis, Greece On Verge Of Recession

Ten years after sinking into its worst economic crisis in living memory, Greece once again faces the spectre of a grave recession in the midst of a global coronavirus lockdown.

Though the country has so far been spared the death toll of other European nations at fewer than 150 fatalities from COVID-19, it will not escape the resulting economic downturn, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis warned this week.

“The consequences of this coronavirus attack will undoubtedly be dramatic,” he told parliament on Thursday.

“We know with certainty that (the recession) will be deep… we don’t know how long the health crisis …

Police On Alert In Hong Kong Ahead Of Democracy Rallies

Riot police hit Hong Kong’s streets on Friday ahead of planned rallies by pro-democracy protesters who were looking to defy restrictions on gatherings during the coronavirus pandemic to voice anger against authoritarian Chinese rule.

The semi-autonomous financial hub was upended by seven months of violent protests last year, hammering its reputation for stability and leaving the city deeply divided.

Widespread arrests, the coronavirus pandemic and social distancing measures ushered in four months of comparative calm.

But small protests have bubbled up in the past week and activists are hoping to use May Day to muster numbers once more.

At Least 17 Inmates Die In Venezuela Prison Riot

A military report cited by AFP news agency said detainees at the Los Llanos prison on Friday staged “a disturbance of public order … resulting in 17 deaths and nine injuries”.

The army gave no reason for the upheaval, but a prisoners’ rights group and a legislator said the riot resulted from prison authorities banning prisoners’ relatives from bringing them food, as is customary in Venezuelan jails, as part of coronavirus containment efforts.

“The prisoners are upset
