UNIPORT Students’ Killers Paraded After Buhari’s Reaction

A five-man gang that allegedly killed three University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) students have been paraded.

The Police presented them to the media on Wednesday.

President Muhammadu Buhari had in his reaction ordered the prosecution of the suspects.

The decomposing bodies of three students, one female, and two males, were recovered in a forest in Ete-O community in Eleme Local Government Area of Rivers State.

The incident occurred in February but the disappearance was reported in April when the Anti-Cultism Unit began an investigation.

Tukur Buratai, Nigeria’s Chief of Army Staff, on Tuesday lost his mother, Kakah Hajja.

A family source told SaharaReporters that the late Hajja died after a brief illness at her home in Maiduguri, Borno State.

A massive fire broke out at a residential building in Al Nahda in Sharjah, one of the largest cities in the United Arab Emirates.

According to BBC, dozens of firefighters worked to put out the blaze in the Abbco Tower using at least a dozen fire engines and drones, a local journalist reports.

They are now trying to cool the 48-floor building down.

There were no immediate reports of casualties or of the likely cause of the fire.

More than 70,000 Americans have been killed by the deadly Coronavirus pandemic still sweeping through states in the US.

According to records from the Johns Hopkins University, 71,022 Americans are now dead from the pandemic.

There are at least 1,203,502 cases of coronavirus in the US according to Johns Hopkins University’s tally of cases.

Johns Hopkins reported 21,049 new cases and 1,925 reported deaths.
