CNN Anchor, Chris Cuomo Tests Positive For Coronavirus

Chris Cuomo, CNN anchor and younger brother of Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo of New York, has tested positive for the deadly coronavirus disease.

The 49-year-old made this known on his twitter account on Tuesday, stating that he hoped he doesn’t give it to his kids and his wife, Cristina.

Chris Cuomo said, ”So in these difficult times that seem to be more difficult and complicated by the day, I just found out that am positive for coronavirus.

President Muhammadu Buhari’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, has claimed that his principal and vice president Yemi Osinbajo, have been receiving half of their salaries before the outbreak of coronavirus.

Adesina stated this during an interview on Politics Today which aired on Channels Television.

According to him, both Buhari and Osinbajo have been getting half of their salaries since they came into power in 2015.

The Nigerian Army on Tuesday effected a major shake up and released the postings and appointments of some senior officers.

The posting was approved by the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Lt Gen TY Buratai.

However, one of the senior officers affected by the shake up was Maj Gen OG Adeniyi, who was redeployed from Headquarters Theatre Command OPLD Maiduguri to NARC as Senior Research Fellow.

Mababa “Pape” Diouf, Senegalese journalist, and former president of French football club, Olympique de Marseille has died after contracting the deadly coronavirus.

Diouf was hospitalised in Senegal after contracting the virus. He became the country’s first COVID-19 fatality.

Announcing his death, the French club in a statement released on their Twitter account on Tuesday stated that “Olympique de Marseille learned with great sadness of the death of Pape Diouf.
