The Dutch football federation (KNVB) called an end to the 2019-20 season on Friday, as the Eredivisie became the first top European league called off due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The British High Commission has assured that 900 of its nationals stranded in Nigeria will be flown home on three flights chartered by its government.

The commission said the three additional flights would bring the number of people flown back to the UK from Nigeria on government charter flights to about 2,000.

Senegalese Ministry of Health and Social Action, on Friday reported 66 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases to 545 in the country.
