Video Sparks Outrage As Discrimination in China Grows

Amidst increasing calls for justice for minorities in China, especially blacks being a subject to increased scrutiny and racial attacks for the recent flare-up in coronavirus cases, an Ethiopian diplomat based in China was denied access to a public shop area sparking outrage on social media.

In a video post, Tseday Getachew Girmaye, previously stationed in Jakarta, now a consul with the Ethiopian consulate in Guangzhou, can be seen as she is denied access while others, locals and a white lady were given access to the shopping area.

A police officer in Somalia’s capital, Mogadishu  has been arrested in the fatal shooting of at least one civilian while enforcing coronavirus restrictions, according to officials.

SA: Woman Found Murdered, Husband Jumps In Front Of Truck

Potchefstroom police are investigating cases of murder and culpable homicide after the bodies of a man and his wife were found dead in separate locations this week.

Police suspect that the husband killed himself by jumping in front of an oncoming truck. They also believe that his wife was strangled.

According to police spokesperson Colonel Adéle Myburgh, officers were summoned to a culpable homicide scene close to Thusong Hospital at about 16:00 on Wednesday, where they discovered the body of the 48-year-old man.

The state of sea creature fuelled suspicions that the waters in the Niger Delta region are massively polluted.

The Lagos State AIDS Control Agency (LSACA) said it has, in collaboration with the organised private sector, distributed over 1000 economic relief packages to indigent HIV patients during the COVID-19 lockdown.
